Dana White Confirms UFC Seeking to Acquire Vitor Belfort

The UFC president confirmed in a taped Spike TV interview that the organization is actively courting the services of UFC, Pride, and Afflcition veteran Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort. Belfort has a 2-0 record since dropping to the middleweight division last year. White confirmed that he'd like to see Belfort in a showdown against UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
The interview aired during a commercial break in Spike TV's broadcast of The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Finale.And here is the rest of it.

Sources are reporting to MMAFanhouse that Fedor Emelianenko and Josh Barnett have verbally agreed to square off in August, and that a middleweight clash between top middleweights Gegard Mousasi and Vitor Belfort is also in the works for the card.
